Congratulations sir, it's twins

So this all started last August when I was relistening to HMD (yet again) and when Temeraire hatches it says how he seemed big for a freshly hatched creature. So my mind went to Volly being the smallest baby boy and then I jumped back to Temeraire being much smaller when he hatched and that I thought "what if the season why Temeraire is small when he hatches is because he has a twin in the egg with him. (Shell twins!) And they both love Laurence and now he has two dragons"

I can get behind almost anything that makes it so Laurence has even more proof that he is indeed lovable so now Laurence has two dragon children <3 Because Laurence is a bit of a completionism, I feel he'd name the twin after a ship too. So here is Genereux!! She loves her brother and her captain very very much.

So yeah, I've had this is my drafts for weeks, but I'm finally sharing my girl, she is precious and I love her with my whole heart and soul.

She loves poetry and art and history and theater, and sometimes gets frustrated when she has to listen again and again to Laurence reading from the Principia to Temeraire over and over and over. Which is perhaps unfair because she insists on Laurence reading things that she likes just as much.

Emotionally, they were teenagers for like a week and a half, * sniff * they grow up so fast

Laurence is really living his best life, a dragonett for each hand. Though, they do get underfoot sometimes, they are just so gosh darn curious, want to know everything. They will go sticking their noses into everything and find stuff they aren’t meant too.

It’s a good think that Laurence doesn’t mind being perceived, because they will just, stare some times. They are both excited for Laurence to continue his reading of Twelfth Night.

Genereux will become especially fond of that play, she and Temeraire will memorize their favorite roles and recite the lines of their favorite characters while Laurence reads the others. Though there always is a little bit of conflict if they should recite their favorite characters, or make Laurence read their favorite characters. There’s always an issue about that and the results change every time.

Oh, so I forgot some things in the first post I made about Genereux ahahah

So basically, Genereux has lighter eyes and spots, think that Temeraire has solidly blue eyes and Genereux’s eyes are a blue-seagreen that is closer to the silver tone. Her whiskers on the front left side of her snout are shorter than the rest of her whiskers because they get ripped off when she fights with Praecursoris in HMD.
