At the front of the house, Kappa and Nema talked to two Pokemon standing at (and on) the front gate. They chatted quickly, triple checking that they had everything the needed and that they knew where they were going.
Sitting on top of the gate was Nigel. He was one of the Pokemon who took it upon themselves to guard the entrance to the house. He eyeballed Kappa and Nema as the large Pokemon next to him poised a question.
Shellpos was a Golisopod, and the other gate guardian. She really only stayed by the gate so she wouldn’t miss any of the action. She asked where the other two of the four travellers were.
Just as Shellpos asked, a buttery voice came from behind Kappa and Nema.
It was Marigold and Morelet!
