One of the leading lessons of this Pandemic is that we must re-learn how to honor the earth. We must re-learn how to honor ourselves. These two lessons are intertwined. We must return to the knowledge that we are most blessed children of Mother Earth. We are magnificent because she is magnificent. We must return the systems of honoring her and honoring ourselves. Today I honored myself by buying flowers for me. I honored the earths beauty and my own. I honored my inner child because she / they love flowers. This pandemic is coaxing me into a new normal. A normal where I honor the earth and myself as expressions of supreme Goddess energy that we are. I honor the earth and myself by making offerings to us to thank us for surviving and for thriving. Some sculptures in the woods at the site of a very old small pit-mine near my studio. I love to balance and stack the wonderful variety of rocks found in the forest. Lately I've been adding pieces of wood and grape vine.
