#Repost @friendsoftohanimalshelter (@get_repost) ・・・ F O U R T H LONGEST RESIDENT Sally! ✨ Sally’s story makes us break on the inside, into about a million pieces. Sally is our 6 1/2 year old, gorgeous tan and white baby girl, with the saddest eyes and sweetest smile. Sally was brought into our shelter by her ‘finder’. They claimed that they found her 4 days earlier, and wanted to keep her because she is so “sweet and pretty”, but that she wasn’t eating and they were concerned. Once Sally was intake, we discovered Sally was underweight and had a high fever. She continued to not eat, and 12 hours later, after an xray that showed impacted stool, and bloat, emergency surgery was performed. Thankfully, immediately after surgery, Sally felt better, was eating and her fever disappeared! It’s scary to think how close she could have been to dying if it wasn’t for the quick action of our Medical staff. Fast forward 5 months, Sally’s ‘finder’ ended up adopting her, and returning her. Now, Sally is back, and as scared as ever, and is so in need of a forever home. Sally needs a solo pet home, which we know makes it that much harder. Sally knows multiple commands, and is said to be house trained, and used to sleeping in bed with her former owners. It’s incredibly heartbreaking to see Sally back here.
