USE-WHAT-YOU-HAVE FRUIT CRISP 5-6 cups selection of fruit: 3-5 sliced or cubed apples or pears, mixed berries (fresh or frozen, thawed) 1 cup Sun-Maid Natural or Golden Raisins 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1/2 cup flour, white or whole wheat 1/4-1/2 cup packed brown sugar, your preference 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 cup butter, softened *see tip 1 cup oats, regular or quick HEAT oven to 350 Fº. COMBINE fruit, raisins, and lemon juice in a 9-inch square or round baking dish (2 to 2-1/2quart size). Use enough fruit to fill the dish. MIX flour, brown sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl. CUT in butter using a fork, two knives, a pastry blender, or fingers, until mixture is crumbly. Mix in the oats. SPRINKLE oat mixture evenly over fruit and raisins in the baking dish. Pat down gently. BAKE for 40-50 minutes or fruit is bubbly and topping is lightly browned. Serve warm or room temperature, with vanilla ice cream if you have some! TIP To soften refrigerated butter stick: • Place unwrapped butter vertically on a plate. • Pour boiling water into a mug large enough to fit over the butter: let water stand in mug 1 minute. • Drain water and immediately place mug over butter so the mug rim makes a seal on the plate. Let stand 5 minutes. #ShelterNBake #kidfriendly #homebaking #fruitcrisp #kidsinthekitchen #getcookingsimply #sponsoredpost https://www.instagram.com/p/B-fDSEpDIwx/?igshid=pwbsq2hc5gqs
