Dixie went into the vet today to have a dental procedure. Just a routine cleaning to treat her tarter and gingivitis with no extractions needed. But she is HIIIIIIIIIGGGGGHHHHH as a kite right now. She keeps staring at things in the house like she doesn’t remember what they are. Right now, we’re looking out the front window trying to recognize the neighborhood.

We got back Princess Peaches rainbow watercolor today. Each senior receives their own when they pass. 🌈 They all hang proudly in our main room Miss Peach is our 17th senior that has passed this year. The heartache never gets easier but the love grows stronger knowing we helped them in their last stage of life. Our sweet Princess Peach was helped to the rainbow bridge late afternoon. She had an instant, rapid decline throughout the day. It was suspect that she had Pancreatic cancer from an xray and bloodwork. Her stomach became very distended and she was in a great deal of pain. It was so sudden and so much pain. We rushed her to a local vet a few minutes away we could not let her suffer. Peach was ushered into peace where she left behind all her pain and troubles. She will always be our beautiful Princess 🍑 Peach also had Laryngeal Paralysis and breathing had already been so difficult for her. We were able to love on her for a few short couple of months. She enjoyed being at the sanctuary with all her new family and siblings. She was 14 and we knew our time was not long but this was a sudden shock today. Peach was a very sweet, quiet spirit. She truly loved her life here and had a full happy heart. We will miss you dear girl.. until we meet again. Please donate for Peach's medical bills and cremation. Sweet Peach🍑, has been having some issues lately. She has Laryngeal Paralysis and has trouble breathing. It makes her larynx paralyzed and she has had more coughing. She is going with Josh to Dr. A today for a checkup and possibly medicines.
