I’m from the tri-state area and I still don’t get it

I mean I'm a little jealous because if you meet someone online and they say their from New York and you're from Jersey, there's a good chance you can meet up with them within 3 hours in like NYC or one of the other major cities (I don't actually know, totes assuming. I don't even know what the drive is from Upstate NY to NYC)

Me, I find out someone else is in California and I get excited until I learn they are in SoCal and driving 5/6 hours to LA is a hassle. I won't even think about my friends in Oregon or Nevada because wow.

my dog would lick me and then he’d hear something so he’d stop mid-lick and his tongue would still be on me for like a second or two like just stuck there and then he’d continue on licking after he concluded that the sound wasn’t worth bothering lol

I just pictured Ty licking you, turning his head away, and his tongue stretching to like a foot long, then him asking like nothing happened and you just staring at him like 'wut'
