Nights like these were rare. Just the two of them, alone and not on a mission. Because lately, anytime they were together alone, it was for a mission with their students. It’s a little hard to sneak away without causing any suspicion. So, the only thing they could resort to was little touches. A foot rub under the table, a brush of the hand while walking in the halls of the ship, or while pouring their coffee in the mess in the morning. All it did was make Kaidan crave his partner even more. A yearning that couldn’t be satisfied.
