Watched "Deep Sea" (2023) yesterday and it is a hella good movie!

I has been interested in it since seeing edits in TikTok. Unfortunately, they prepared me to the "sad" ending (without spoilers, I just knew that it caused ppl crying, so was curious just about the twist and that's why I didn't experience strong emotions), but it will be a whole crime to deny how spectacular and deep the film was. It teaches teens life by showing the fantastic and at the same time chamber story about overcoming the crisis, friendship bonding and a pure devotion.

Also I'm kinda annoyed that some people on TikTok hate it because of "extra fluid" animation and Nanhe's emotions even though they didn't watch the whole film. The creators had their unique approach, what made the visual part unusual and recognisable in the greatest way. Nanhe isn't a typical edgy sassy guy, eventually, he's the main character, so his expression is crucial for his charisma and development through the plot.

I mean... Just look at his relationship with Shenxiu, literally big brother and little sister adorable dynamics =3

(not mention how this contrast was important for the plot)

If you want to see a thought-provoking fairytale with bizarre but kinda familiar vibes, you MUST check up Deep Sea. This movie really worth recognition and popularity, and I'm a lil bit sad that some watchers aren't even ready to give it a chance. It's weirdness quickly becomes catchy, so you wish that Shenxiu really got into a phantasmagorical sea world without any loss (tss, no spoilers)

... Well, have I already said that Nanhe is really sassy?
