yeeees I don't know why they put hide source attribution as the default. that's a pretty sucky thing to do, and a lot of people don't think to explore the settings tab. I know I didn't until weeks after I got tumblr savior!

my only problem with this is that tumblr doesn’t show me the source anymore :l not even xkit fixes it

Do you use Tumblr Savior? When I first started using it my source attribution disappeared too. I didn't realise that it had "Hide Tumblr's source attribution" turned on as the default. Otherwise I'm not really sure why it doesn't show for you anymore, that is rather strange. :(
