i was wondering if you could give some tips on how to make really pretty journal spreads (seeing as yours are so beautiful)!
Hello my dear, first of all I'm flattered!!❤️
so here's a few things I think will help (remember it's just my way and you can definitely do it however you want!)
pictures: I think they make the biggest impact! so all you need to do is go to pinterest or any other site search up some aesthetic pictures, and make then into a collage and print them out. Pro tip: search up by a specific ‘core’ or words instead of just ‘colour+aesthetic’ that will give you better results! and I highly encourage making a board and then sections for different types the 'find more' option just makes the work so much easier then.
printables: they're a life savior god! you actually don't have to but any fancy stickers or anything these extra decor is available free on most sites, just search of the terms like 'printables' 'memos' and you'll get a large variety, which ofc you can just cut out and paste!
symmetry: this is one thing I noticed after making a lot of bad spreads fjdjksj, if you're making a spread which have a lot of stuff going on like thoughts, pictures, quotes etc then make sure to have equal space between them.It doesn't have to be perfect squares just plan it out before that what is going where. and writing always after pasting!!
experiment!! a lot!!: there's absolutely no rules on what and how your journal should be! you want to doodle? do it! wanna try collaging? do it! wanna be minimalistic? do it! wanna go extra fancy? do that too!! if you're a beginner then try all of the styles you want, all different alignments all different type of spreads! you'll eventually find the one that makes you happy.
and don't feel sad if one of your spread don't look ‘pretty’ or that way you wanted it too, they're all your creations, love them all don't rip those pages embrace them too :)
