'Ten minutes left. I've got to hurry!' I thought as I rushed to the front door, tugging it open.
The entrance desolate and empty with only a mat and several pairs of shoes ranging from heels to converse. Red and black umbrellas along the wall in a cylindrical container.
I rushed passed the entrance and straight towards the wooden staircase. Men in suits wait with their backs turned. 'This is not going to be easy.' I thought just as the men turned to face me. "What the...?" The taller of the men exclaimed as I flew passed them. The shortest of the men grabbed for my arm from which I quickly escaped from. Little did she know that the men held arms. Silencers stretching out from the end of the barrel. Shots were aimed and fired at the girl. A single bullet ripped through her forearm.
Pain shot up her shoulder and into her neck. The pain was like nothing I had ever experienced before. Besides being stabbed. Through the pain, I continued my mission.
After the shooting incident. I reach a big door covered in what smelt like a mixture of sulfur and bleach.
The door opened with ease and upon its opening, it revealed row of chairs filled with people she had contacted over the years.
The Inspector sat in the farthest seat covered in fresh and dried blood. Jake resided next to him, beaten to a bloody pulp. My mother resided at the end of the chairs. She looked the least bit harmed out of all of them. Only a cut upper lip and a light scratch along her throat. It wasn't deep enough to make her bleed out, but it was sore if she spoke.
Their eyes widened when they saw my bloodied arm. "I'm fine." I reassured them before they could ask any questions as to what happened. But as soon as I spoke. A familiar deep voice poked through the air. "Nice of you to make it. A little late, but it'll do." My vision blurred and the room spun. The room turned black.
Several minutes passed before my eyes opened. Light burned and my eyes immediately shut. The feeling of rope twisting against my skin was evident. 'Rope...They tied me up...Just like the others.' I struggled against the binds but to no avail.
"You can open up your eyes now." An unfamiliar voice shined through the veil of silence and darkness. "Who are you?" I ask, finally able to open my eyes to the fullest. "My name is Astra." The voice responded, it sounded very familiar. A bit too familiar even for a stranger's voice. Upon glancing over at the figure, my eyes widened slightly. She looked identical to myself. Same shoulder length brown hair, same rose colored glasses, same body shape. It almost brought a chill down my spine.
