Progress of Mycroft/Lestrade portrait so far. Still a lot of work ahead! Probably I should have choosen smaller size than A2… I need some feedback to get motivation for finishing it…What do you think about it?

Day 21 of #sherlockember challenge. I dont think that I am overly succesfull today with capturing Martin Freeman's features. To my defence I drew him without preliminary sketch, using brush and ink straightforward. I finished the sketch with a bit of ink wash and watercolours. I made a few process shots so you can see how it was done
For day 17 of #sherlockember challenge I drew Inspector Lestrade. I love his gray hair! It is such a beautiful frame for his tanned face!
Today was a very very busy day. It involved heaps of running babies and unwanted gifts:) As the result I had not much time to draw. So here is my humble installment for the days 13 and 14 of #sherlockember - two small sketches of Sherlock and John in their native environment. I promise, I will do better drawing tomorrow... or day after tomorrow... or when I am not so exhausted:)
Day 9 of #sherlockember. I think Martin Freeman has the best smile of them all. But I like his “grumpy hedgehog” face too:) I am loving this challenge so much! Drawing all these gorgeous faces of my favourite characters, that can be better?😍 I am getting very quick with ink sketching too.
I am drawing very loosely today, without preliminary sketch, measuring ets. So my Martin Freeman doesn’t look like himself at all. On the other hand today my baby learned how to show nose on her and other faces. Maybe she will show me where Martin’s nose really is? ;-p
This month I decided to draw Sherlock characters every day. Unfortunately this Monday life decided that my baby daughter needs a night trip to ER with acute gastro. And by that morning we all were very very sick. It is good though that this thing lasts only few days. Today I was able to draw again and I missed only a couple of days of my challenge. Hopefully I will be able to catch up with them in no time. So here is my day 2, a solemn looking Sherlock drawn on transparency film with ink and graffiti markers. The background is also hand made. I know that the portrait is rushed, but hey, it is a drawing a day, it is all going to be sketchy all way through.
