Here's a video of Ghost Rider from today. As you can see, her upper respiratory infection is gone and the scab on her scalp has significantly softened and shrunk. She hamsters quite well and doesn't show signs of pain. If she did we would obviously have to consider other options for her, but right now her quality of life is good and improving every day. Her eyes are gone which I know worried some people, but hamsters are essentially blind even when they have perfect hamster eyesight. With perfect eyesight hamster can see movement and blurry shapes a few inches away. She isn't really missing out on much there and the rest of her senses are perfectly intact. #hamster #ghostrider #shesgettingbetter

Pixie had a great visit at the vet today. Her red blood cell count is back up in the normal range and she gained weight. She’s still a little grumpy from having to go but she’s found for sunbeam and all is right in her world. Thank you to everyone for all the prayers and good wishes.
