ALEXANDRIA IS NOT his favourite place. It isn’t his home, as much as Rick would insist otherwise, nor is it a place Daryl is keen to spend the night. Not with Carol staying at the kingdom, not with his boyfriend back at the hilltop, and certainly not with Negan still alive. There isn’t much here for him, anymore. Except Judith. Her tiny hand is grasped tight in his own as he wanders the settlement, & it’s clear he’s entirely smitten with the little girl.

He’s almost pissed when they’re interrupted. “Hey, Luce. You want somethin’ ?”
