It has been a long time since I've seen 03 but fwir it handles the early stuff better than fmab. The pacing is better, some of the famous heartripping moments of the series hit much harder. OG Greed has a whole story arc that fmab cut iirc. But it doesn't have Ling at all and that's a sin (pun intended). And the ending just totally goes off the rails. But one of the major mysteries of the series is more compelling in 03. It's not a simple "FMAB good, 03 bad" situation. I prefer fmab tho.
Just throwing these all together so I don’t clog the dash too much - some solid opinions here on pros and cons of both seriesI do think I’ll definitely have to watch the beginning of 03 since it does seem like pretty much everyone universally agrees that the pacing there is better (which makes sense, since broho assumed you watched 03 they rushed pretty quickly through season 1) Thanks for the opinions ya’ll!
