They were strolling down the beach shore that late afternoon, with their investigation done for the day. A quiet glance at him would have her take note of an already quiet demeanor noticeably relaxing at the sight of the gushing sea waves... And by the time they have chosen to sit themselves down somewhere, the ninja would choose to rest her hand upon his... Pausing for a moment, however, as she wasn't sure why this all seemed so familiar...
Since the moment they had decided to rest, his gaze had not wandered far from the scene before them; even without sparing a few glances towards his company, this shared silence had become a common practice between the two. Not to say Jotaro particularly minded, of course. Simply listening and watching the perpetual movement of waves, as well as the sun as it made its slow descent from the sky with ever vibrant colors… that alone was enjoyable.
Though the desire for more was there. It may be a lie to say that Taki was the first to think it appropriate right then to initiate some contact. No, he wanted this just as much. And so it wasn’t long after he found her hand upon his that Jotaro had his palm opened, and fingers already interlocked with hers. Then, it suddenly hit him – the familiarity of it all.
Was his mind playing tricks on him now? A result of a lack of sleep, or… maybe just a serious case of déjà vu? Anything was possible, he supposed, though never had a feeling quite like this before. It was as if he were reliving an exact moment from the past. Odd, considering he hadn’t known Taki until this year. Or perhaps that wasn’t at all the case.
Again, anything was possible.
“Taki,” This is an odd thing he was about to ask, yet he knows he shouldn’t have to explain himself. He can see it on her face now. Somehow, she must be sharing his very thoughts.
“Do you get the feeling we`ve met before, years ago?”

Nonsexual acts of intimacy: Select from the following for my muse to respond to… ♙ : Sharing a bed
It was not often Jotaro awoke to the rays of sun that would so ritually pour in from curtains to give sign that it was the peak of morning; more times that not, he was ready for the day long before then. But, this was obviously not the case now. Incidents such as the night prior led to a sleep he felt most refreshing, perhaps than any he’d had in years. Realizing so only had him contemplating what exactly happened between him and the woman he was sharing this bed with not long after his eyes had opened. Light of day had him squinting, though he’d soon come to focus his gaze upon Taki’s still sleeping face.
That alone briefly distracted him from his original thoughts.
She too seemed at peace. Like himself, she was notorious for always holding such a stoic expression… those stern features weren’t present now, however, and so it was only natural Jotaro noticed right away the faint smile that graced her lips. In truth, she was beautiful like this. Or, maybe he just hadn’t noticed until this point that she’s always been attractive…
Yet he knew appearances alone weren’t the sole reason behind their affair from last night. Something else brought them together, and of course, one thing had led to another… was he to regret it all, though? Opening up so freely to the other, and expressing their love in such a way – at the time, he couldn’t stop himself. He didn’t want to stop, nor thought for a second about what consequences could follow if she found out the truth he was hiding.
Jotaro couldn’t feel as guilty as one might say he should. What’s done is done. And although there happened to be another woman in his life (albeit their relationship was presently in shambles and coming to an end he knew was inevitable), let alone a young daughter he had with her, he could say with confidence he loved Taki and wanted to be with her more than anyone. He wouldn’t have been so willingly intimate with her otherwise, but like everything else, he had to keep this internal conflict to himself. He couldn’t deal with possibly ruining what they had now; no, not when so much else plagued his life at that moment.
He came to the decision that all he wanted then was to spend as long as he could with her, despite the work that had been keeping them busy as of late. They had their responsibilities they couldn’t just abandon, and so this morning was just a rare instance in which they were able to relax together. Jotaro couldn’t let himself worry about what might come in the future. That could be dealt with at a different time, in a different place.
Eyes closed temporarily then, followed by a deep exhale, and he allowed himself to loosen up once more. He had to move on. A few moments of watching Taki continue to sleep passed before he finally shifted closer to where her body, still only covered by the plush sheets of the bed, lied motionless save for the steady rise and fall of her chest.
Gently, his hand was brought to her face, thumb brushing lightly against the soft skin of her cheek. He had no intentions of waking her just yet, though at the same time, he couldn’t help but want to kiss her. Much of that had happened seemingly not long ago, yes, but… before he could think of any other reason to stop himself, his lips were already met with hers.
Soon Jotaro had pulled away, however only enough so that another kiss could be pressed to the corner of her mouth, and yet another lower to her jaw. So much for wanting her to continue sleeping – his impulsive desires might have been getting the best of him, but he lingered and waited a few moments to allow her to at least open her eyes before going further. After all, he’d want her to enjoy this fully if she had no objections.
Passing Time
It had been a thoughtless undertaking on her part, whilst they had waited at that ice-cream parlour for the others (A suggestion on Okuyasu’s part, and his child-like excitement for such a place). A lone sundae had been ordered (Just so that they would be allowed to stay in there) by them. One that they had wounded up slowly nursing between themselves, as time passed…
When it appeared that the man wasn’t planning to take that cherry, any time soon. So it would seem that it was hers for the taking. Fingers reaching forward to pluck it away from the remnants of whip cream that it laid upon, before it was brought up to parted lips. With her gaze drifting off once more, the tip of a pink tongue briefly poked out to press against the stem itself—before the entire thing slips soundlessly into her mouth.
Seconds passed, teeth clenching lightly behind pressed lips. Tongue now poking a little at the insides of her cheeks as the fruit stem swaps itself between left and right… By the time her gaze returned once more to the table between them, out slips a little knot. Tightened all the more as her nail pinched one end of it, while the other was held down with the edge of her teeth.
While Jotaro couldn’t say he was initially expecting this sort of outcome (though he really should have, considering the younger ones of the group insisted this was the place to go for a break), he supposed indulging in a little treat wasn’t such a bad thing. Dragged along by an all too excited bunch, now sharing a bit of ice cream with Taki… what could go wrong?
At first, he had just been mindlessly eating away at his half from the dish between them, all too occupied with his own thoughts. That is, until he took notice of the other’s actions when his eyes met hers for a second’s time. Ah. Well, needless to say, Jotaro didn’t particular want that cherry anyway. Swallowing then, he soon came to realize what exactly she was doing.
And during that time, he found himself only able to watch her in continued silence. Perhaps he watched too closely then, but it was of course unintentional – if she was really able to tie something as small as the stem of a cherry with her tongue, then… After seeing her present the knot from her mouth, Jotaro had to clear his throat and shift his gaze elsewhere for the time being. Right. Well. Onto another spoonful of that sundae now.
Taki & Jotaro; the third part.
FAST FORWARD TO PART 6, STONE OCEAN, which takes place in 2011. Jotaro’s 41 now, and his daughter is in prison. that’s a problem, especially since he knows she’s been framed and needs to get her tf out of there. and since he’s become older, he know he’s certainly not as strong as he used to be. just lookit him in part 4. :/ anyways. somehow and some time before he goes to visit Jolyne (and ofc before when shit really goes down) he gets back with Taki, and she decides to help him out. the team is Back and ready for action.
but of course, Jotaro ends up falling into a coma... and Jolyne’s left trying to save him. tbh I have yet to finish part 6, but I know Jotaro comes back long enough to save his daughter again, tho we know in the end they all die anyway and there’s a reset or smth man I don’t even know. but ha HA HA, nope. that won’t happen here. we’re making this an au where at the very least Jotaro and Jolyne lives, and of course Taki too. bye Pucci.
the two of them reconcile, annnd... well. after all those rough times together, they decide to get married. yes, getting married in their 40s. ‘cause why not. ‘s not set in stone yet, but Jolyne’s possibly going to be more heavily involved in Jotaro’s life (I guess Taki AND Jotaro’s life, since they’ll be together) too, because I’d like to think they’d finally want to move on and actually have a good father-daughter relationship. it’s been hard, but Jotaro’s willing.
so yea that’s really it. Jotaro and Taki end up married and living a nice quiet life together. as quiet as possible, at least. finally, they’re going to get a normal life... it’s nice to have a break, especially when you’re with someone you’ve loved for a long ass time.
