Trans romni problems:
Being super self conscious about not knowing how to tie your covering exactly right.
Being kept from certain elements of your cultural practices because of transmisogyny, gender policing, et cetera.
Really wishing I knew more Romani trans girls.
Just noticing that reading posts from Romani cis women my age makes me really self conscious and a little ashamed because trans girlhood is just different and really othering. I didn’t have a boyhood but I still got pushed into certain gendered acts and denied others. Familiya is complicated.
