Self Love Activist
What advice can you give to anyone trying to find themselves and love themselves ?
So the advice I would give someone who is trying to find themselves is do things that they've always wanted to do but was always discouraged to do. Loving yourself starts by accepting your flaws - you decide if you want to change it or not. When did you become a self love activist ? I became a self love activist around 21, I conformed for most of my life and I was tired of always feeling like I wasn't beautiful or just being what everyone saw as acceptable when it came to my entity. What is your favorite part of what you do ?
My favorite part about being a self love activist is helping people I know around me, or even just people I meet in general feel good and feel that their presence is known and that they're deserving of all the things they want.
When you're feeling down what truly lifts your spirits ?
I suffer from clinical depression and hyper anxiety disorders so I'm down a lot more than I'm up. When I need to temporarily lift my spirits I'd do things that I've been avoiding during my down. Sometimes I may treat myself to pampering like getting my nails and pedicure or simply a walk outside with a new album or a favorite playlist of mine.
What's next for Vee?
The next step for me is becoming a bit more feminine, I like that I'm mostly androgynous in my appearance and what I do, however I will like to attend to my feminine side and see what's that like. It's funny how we are pushed to be ladylike all our lives and sometimes we don't take it but here I am now trying to see what's it about and how can I adapt to it for my own self concept of what being feminine and a woman is.
Lady in red.
Rambling.
I am the quiet forest who you saw
During those long car rides pass the country side.
You’d always stare out the window,
Marveled by all the wildlife and leaves on the trees.
Mama always caught you rolling down the window,
To hear my stream flow.
Today you saw me, not the me you’ve always known.
You heard no water running,
You saw no animals on the grounds or in the sky.
You saw no leaves on my trees.
I am no longer your favorite pastime.
Because your favorite forest has died.

TFW you wake up from a muscle relaxer induced nap, feeling like 3 days have gone by, and you’re wondering where the heck you are. . . . . 📸: @pixbyramone #shezuschrist #bigdumbfag #garbagefriends (at Berlin Nightclub - Chicago)

You know it wasn't until last year I realized you weren't hetero, like I never even questioned it. However I'm happy you own who you are.
