Not even gonna lie, I think Wolfwood has a chance of surviving Stargaze. Am I being delusional? Almost definitely! But Orange has made so many unique and significant changes to this adaptation, and are very aware of how to play with audience expectations of pre-established canon. I dare say my boy has a chance. The silence after you say your vows to Eliza rings throughout the cafeteria. The bride in question has her hands clasped over her mouth, as ghostly tears threaten to spill over her eyelids.

“Oh...Oh, my sweet suitor.” she sobs, falling to her knees, “Why must you make this so hard for me...? I already found my perfect prince, why are you doing this to me?”

“Because I truly care for you, princess. Please, let me help you.” you murmur, taking her hand in yours.

“Okay.” she smiles shakily before turning to her entourage, “Please set Idia darling free...parting is such sweet sorrow, my love, but I’m afraid I’ve found someone that would make me even happier.”

“Thank you, your highness.” you smile, bowing your head, “Please, allow me to place this ring upon your finger.”

Eliza swoons as you do, and just like that the ghosts have vanished. You stand up and throw a glance over your shoulder to make sure the frozen statue spell has worn off. Sighing with relief as you hear the groans and complaints of your peers.

Before any of them can comment on what they just witnessed, you turn on your heel and leave.

“They have unspeakable rizz.” Idia mumbles under his breath, watching you go.
