I was watching ep 35 with my sister when she said, mildly joking "you know what? these two have been solving everything" and I stared at her and then I was like damn, you're right.
Mountain Sect guy came and told Amnesic Prince "hey buddy, you have something dangerous inside of you and it's not your lust for your blood master btw", then saved the stupid crown prince, which put into motion all the events that led him to being on the throne. The doctor friend was the one who killed the evil wizard guy, literally nailing him in the brain lmao, while mountain sect guy and his brotherhood took the mystical power out of the Amnesic Prince.
Then once they found out Shiang was held prisoner, they immediately went to save her she said no but the intention is what counts .And Mountain Sect Guy left freaking fanarts in Amnesic Prince's chambers so he could remember his epic romance. And finally, they sneaked into the Kinky Empress' chambers and found her dirty little secret, aka the former Emperor, completely by chance.
like... if you think about it, most of the plot has been moving along because of them. They're like Shaggy and Scooby, stumbling onto the scene of the crime without meaning to.
And hey, I know the bar is in hell and this drama makes no sense at all, but this is what I want from my second leads: to not be involved in any kind of love triangle with main leads and also to serve a purpose in main story. Bonus points if they like each other.
