kagurabachi is actually about the weight of taking on the responsibility of raising a grieving teenager after he lost his only parent (and your best friend) ...you never expected to be in charge of a kid like that besides like, helping your friend out sometimes, you know, and now its Your Responsibility and even though most people who raise kids will feel like they're not suited for it, and not doing a good job, somehow, you feel like you're even less prepared for it than most people... Bc a good guardian wouldnt let chihiro go down this path of revenge, right? a good guardian would take enten away and keep chihiro safe ... and maybe a good guardian would have told chihiro the truth about the malediction sooner... but shiba isn't... he was never meant to be a parent... not like this... he wasn't prepared for it.. he isn't strong enough to tell chihiro no... all he can do is bandage chihiros wounds and catch him after fights and hope that kunishige will forgive him someday for failing him and his child the way he has. GOD!
