Floating
I've been going through a massive blue period. Stipping things back to pencil, less graphic, more intimate and I'm loving how much more I'm enjoying it. I've released this current series as prints - something which I've not done in around 3 years. I've also taken my work to Inprnt as I really did not like the direction society6 was heading.
So if you'd like to grab a print, you can find them all available here : https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/nvm/
There's currently 10% off prints and there are fair few lovely prints available there that I've not uploaded here.
Lara Shibari This captivating series featuring Lara explores the poetic and tactile nuances of Shibari, the traditional Japanese art that transcends its origins in restraint to become a visual interplay of body, rope, and emotion. Each image carefully juxtaposes the raw power of the human form with the intricate artistry of the knots and bindings, creating a delicate equilibrium that invites both contemplation and admiration. The ropes, textured and organic, trace the contours of the model’s body like ink flowing across parchment, highlighting the dynamic between fragility and strength, surrender and empowerment.
Rendered in warm, earthy tones, the series envelops the viewer in a timeless, intimate atmosphere that feels deliberate and deeply personal. Within each frame unfolds a subtle yet profound narrative—one of trust, craftsmanship, and the unspoken dialogue between the rigger and the model. These photographs capture moments of serene stillness, where the bindings transcend their physical function to embody connection, release, and the evolving boundaries of vulnerability and strength. This series is less a showcase of form and a more introspective journey into the textures of human connection, trust, and the transformative power of artistic expression.
The really naughty series for full members: https://www.patreon.com/posts/lara-shibari-117025312?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link
