In major escalation PIJ claims responsibility for the rockets launched towards Jerusalem and Gush Eztion in the last hour.
Last time rocket sirens were activated in Efrat was 2013.

This was 80 year old Inga Abramyan who was murdered by a terrorist rocket attack that hit her apartment in Rehovot last week Thursday. Her disabled husband was seriously injured.
She immigrated from Armenia to Israel about 30 years ago. She worked as a Russian teacher. Her funeral will take place tomorrow, Monday, at the cemetery in Givat Brenner.
May her memory be for a blessing.

Let me tell you what the last few minutes of my life were like. I was driving to pick my kid up from school, and all of a sudden sirens and explosions, very loud explosions, right over my head. What do I do now? I’m in my car, nowhere near my house, no bomb shelter in sight, what the heck do I do? Everyone stops their cars in the middle of the road, and went running in total and utter hysteria. People are grabbing others off of the street pulling them into their homes to get them into a bomb shelter. I was one of those people. I went into a stranger’s house and found myself in a bomb shelter with 20 people I do not know, and who I have never seen in my life. As I am writing this tweet, a woman in the next car is hysterically crying trying to get through traffic, and when I rolled down my window to ask her what is wrong and if I can help, she said, and I quote, “I am petrified. Let me get out of here!!” And this, once again, illustrates what life is like in Israel. Nonstop bombarding from our enemies, and beautiful unity of a family, all of the citizens of Israel looking out for each other. I am both terrified and deeply inspired by what just transpired. And one more thing. In the Bible, the Jewish people in the desert were protected by “The clouds of glory”. That is how I felt just now as I heard the Iron Dome intercept rockets mid air to protect me. I never felt closer to God than I did in that moment. This can’t continue and I hope and pray that our government gives our army the green light to do what it needs to do. I don’t know what that is but I trust the IDF, the best army in the world to do what’s necessary. We will win this because good will always beat evil. It might take time but our national light will eventually remove the darkness of our enemies. Also, the fact that the Palestinians have rockets that can reach Tel Aviv and Jerusalem is sick and yet another reason that the disengagement from Gaza was a colossal and historic mistake we are paying the price for today. I’m still trying to find my son…
