me: remembers the whole plot of clint being jealous of nat’s interest in tony and ready to literally rip tony’s heart out over it.. me: yeah.. this is reads more as nat & tony r fucking and clint’s being clint
there are also other moments where it’s like ... nat’s secret that she works the hardest to keep is that she’s the one who kidnapped yinsen for wong-chu, very specifically because she doesn’t want tony to know. and then when he does find out, she manipulates him into forgiving her. which he does in about 30 seconds. and THEN after she knocks him out, and steals some of his tech. AND HE STILL FORGIVES HER AFTER THAT. honestly what won’t tony let her get away with?
“I feel like Hulk punched me like- a few times.” It's the first thing she says when she tries to get up from the'd for a starter !! ground. “I’ve never been punched ny one but, i’m pretty sure that’s how it must feel like.” She hopes she didn’t break anything this time. She hates the time she needs to be at rest when that happens.
