Day 26: Diamond
Headcanon
It isn't something she notices that she does, unless someone points it out, but Kate tends to sway her hips slightly more when she's walking after being around certain people. Those certain people include Eli, Tommy, Tony, Darcy, Loki and Billy. Billy's really the only one who points it out though.
Explanations
Laying on Billy's bed, Tommy played with his phone, flipping it in his hands.
He missed Eli a lot. It hurt him in a way he didn't actually know was possible.
Sitting up, he sighed, steeling himself he quickly texted out,
"I need to see you."
Eli wasn't going to be happy about a lot of things. Tommy would have to explain the situation... pretending to be Billy, school, getting into fights, his current bruising and even that he'd gone to see his ... adoptive birth mom?
There was a deep breath, was he ready for this?
Not really, but he couldn't stand any longer without seeing the other. It was painful.

Day 18: Summer
random headcanon
Tommy x Eli
Name:
Isaiah Victor Bradley
When Tommy and Eli married, Tommy dropped Shepherd, choosing to take on the Bradley name. He felt no affinity to Shepherd in any case. Billy granted them a son when he saw how desperate Tommy was for one and the child took the names of two important people to both parents- Eli's grandfather and Tommy's 'biological' father.
Gender:
A boy. The two were certain it was going to be a girl, they even bought girl clothes, which they ended up giving to Kate when she had her daughter.
General Appearance:
Iz is very much the epitome of milk chocolate. Tommy's light skin and Eli's dark formed a very creamy brown colour, far lighter than Eli's. Brown eyes, and dark hair which he later keeps in dreadlocks. However, he has some of Tommy's features and facial structure and is less bulky than Eli.
Personality:
Iz was nicknamed 'Imp' due to his rather devious ways. He's a prankster, with a disregard for rules, but he knows when to pipe down and respect people that have given up a lot for him. He's fairly easy going, with a cute smile and cares about those around him. With a big heart, he tries to look out for the people he loves.
Special Talents:
Iz isn't a speedster, or a super soldier. He is, however, a mutant. He's can speak/communicate with any technology, leaving him a handy addition to any team- not that he's allowed to join either the Young Avengers program OR the Young X-men until he's fifteen.
He's also a great pianist.
Who they like better:
Iz loves both his parents but he tends to go to them for different things.
If he gets in trouble, he always seeks out Tommy, who will be much more lax on the subject and understanding.
However, if he needs serious advice on people, he tends to lean more towards Eli, who's calmer and doesn't panic.
Who they take after more:
Despite Iz's impish ways, he tends to take after Eli more. This is possibly, however due to how a number of Tommy's traits came about because of his upbringing and Iz's has been much more stable.
Personal Head canon:
Iz wanted to join the X-men more than the Avengers due to his standing on mutants, and mutant rights.
Also because he had a crush on X-23's daughter, who was two years his senior.
Like A Doll
Tommy: I wanted to ask you something... -chews lip, suddenly nervous-
Eli: -frowns and nods- Sure, I guess. You look a little scared, though, is everything okay?
Tommy: SOBILLYSAIDTHERE'STHISPROMTHINGANDitmightbekindalameandstuffandyoutotallydon'thavetocomewithmeifyoudon'twanttobutItotallywanttotakeyoubutwereallydon'thavetogolikeatallandcouldsitatyourplacewatchingmovies.
Eli: I, uh.. -blinks a few times- I really didn't catch, like, any of that. Sorry, Tommy, can you slow down a bit?
Tommy: -swallows- Billy said there's a prom. And it's probably totally lame and you don't have to come with me, I mean, we could both just totally not go and sit at your house and watch movies but if I do go... I'd like to take you, if you uh, wanted to come that is...
Eli: -pauses for a moment before laughing- Are you serious? -rolls his eyes- Yeah, we can go to your prom if you want. You're gonna have to rent a tux though, because I know Kate's going to make ME dress up and I don't want to look stupid on my own.
Tommy: -kisses all over his face- How about you come and help me? I am in way over my head here.
Eli: -scratches his face and laughs again- I can't believe you asked me to the prom. Am I even allowed in? Maybe they'll think I'll try to smuggle alcohol in or something.
Tommy: Of course I asked you to the prom. Who else am I going to go with? You're my boyfriend. -frowns- If Teddy's allowed in, you should be too... -brushes their lips together-
Eli: -frowns- Yeah, but Teddy's your age, so it's okay. I've already graduated. -deepens the kiss and slips an arm around Tommy's waist- But fine, let's go raid my closet then.
Tommy: I don't think it should matter. -presses closer- Raid your closet? You got something for a prom?
Eli: -shrugs and tugs lightly at Tommy's arm- I might. Come on, we're not doing anything anyway.
Tommy: So now you're going to dress me up? -lets himself be tugged along-
Eli: Like a doll -he sighs and goes to his closet- I bet you five bucks that shit's going to start pouring from this thing the second I open it.
You Shakespeared Me
Eli: BUT SOFT, WHAT LIGHT THROUGH YONDER WINDOW BREAKS, IT IS THE EAST, AND TOMMY IS THE SUN. See what I did there?
Tommy: Did you just Shakespeare me?
Eli: Shakespeare's awesome
Tommy: Hmmmm, you know who's awesome?
Eli: Me? You?
Tommy: I was going to say you. But me too.
Eli: Fair enough.
Tommy: -coughs- If I profane with my unworthiest hand, This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this:
My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand, To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.
Eli: -Gapes- Are you serious? Romeo and Juliet?
Tommy: ... Isn't that what you used?
Eli: Well, yes, but you have to pick a different play. It's the RULES, TOMMY, THE RULES.
Tommy: -pouts- I didn't know that!
Eli: You do now. Try again!
Tommy: Things base and vile, holding no quantity, Love can transpose to form and dignity. Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind, And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind. Nor hath Love's mind of any judgment taste; Wings and no eyes figure unheedy haste.
Eli: Is that... Midsummer?
Tommy: ... yeah. -Scuffs his shoe-
Eli: That's so... you. I can't believe you picked that play above all others.
Tommy: ... Why? What's wrong with it?
Eli: It's just... I don't even know. How about, "My heart is ever in your service."
Tommy: Timon of Athens? Nice.
Eli: I'm suave, what can I say.
Tommy: Courteous lord, one word. Sir, you and I must part- but that's not it. Sir, you and I have lov'd- but there's not it. That you know well. Something it is I would- O, my oblivion is a very Eli, And I am all forgotten!
Eli: -snorts- You're Cleopatra, then? Alright.
Tommy: ... Shut up. I'm trying here.
Eli: A heart to love, and in that heart, Courage, to make's love known.
Tommy: Macbeth? Didn't know he had it in him.
Eli: He died, though, which doesn't bode well for me...
Tommy: Here, I'll give you my favorite, wanna hear it? -pulls him closer-
Eli: I guess...?
Tommy: Doubt thou the stars are fire; Doubt that the sun doth move; Doubt truth to be a liar; But never doubt I love.
Eli: You motherfucker. Hamlet?
Tommy: Yep.
Eli: I love you.
Tommy: I love you more.
Eli: Wanna bet?
Tommy: What do you want to bet?
Eli: No bets necessary, I can out-Shakespeare you for the title. [pause] I love you more than words can wield the matter, Dearer than eyesight, space and liberty. Hear my soul speak. Of the very instant that I saw you, Did my heart fly at your service. I know no ways to mince it in love, but directly to say ‘I love you’
Tommy: You. Bastard. I humbly do beseech of your pardon, For too much loving you
Eli: I'm amazing. Do you know how many English Lit. courses I took over the course of 5 summers during high school? I had the time to study these plays, ok.
