“At least all my assholeness is internalized and not expressed towards others.” Yu was totally not currently drinking a monster energy drink just to keep himself awake.
“Please do not worry about me. I do not need anything. I already have to deal with all this mistletoe anyways.” ~Shifter
Mattie has his tongue sticking out of his mouth as his finishes putting up the last of the mistletoe around Yu’s place. He lands on the floor, having been able to use his wings to reach all the door/entry ways. Painting a bit from the soreness of actually using his wings after not doing so for a very long time. He however smiled at his work, ears perking up as he herd Yu coming out of his room finally.
Yu looked around at the little bat’s work as he walked through his apartment. He stopped in his entranceway next to the proud beaming boy.
“Do like it Yu!?”
Yu sighed but smiled very slightly. “Was putting it up in the entry way necessary? I do have to be able to let people in you know...”
“But everyone deserves kisses!”
Yes, but there are certain people I really don’t want to end up having to kiss. Yu ruffled the bat boy’s hair. “I suppose that is true.” He’ll just have to be careful on who he is letting into his place. Alternatively he could just leave his door unlocked and just tell others to come in when they knock. No need to actually be in the entryway.
Yu would be lock up inside his room with a do not disturb sign both on his front door and room door.
Yu raised his hand. “I have turned into a cat and starting cleaning myself in front of him before cause I didn’t want to deal with his and Margrets talking. Very awkward conversations after that I tell you.”

Yu let out a yawn being sure not to rub his eyes. He put his book down only to notice how late it was. When was the last time he’s eaten? Eh, it was probably not that long ago. He decided to go back to reading his book.
