You would think a man who spends most of his life making and drinking tea wouldn't have anger issues but here Shigen is being a morally ambiguous old hobo man that snaps at children and encourages murder of a certain variety

Hisato is basically technology inept so like, when he first got his cellphone Shigen, of all people, had to teach him how to set it up and use the basic features like calling, texting and so on

And basically, after Hisato learned about Pokemon Go he and Neko Atsumi, Hisato had Shigen help him install the mobile games on his phone (it made Hisato very happy)

Shigen is a survivor of a really abusive childhood and he spends the majority of his time trying to help other victims by getting them out of their abusive situations and relocated somewhere safe and happy 

He doesn’t care about blood colour or mutations, he will help anyone
