okay so I'm gonna start with saying I'm so sorry!!! Not just for using the word, but also for my depiction in general. I definitely did not mean to offend anyone, but I admit I may have fucked up a tiny bit.

I've been researching a lot and I realise now that this creature isn't just another brand of cryptid, but a deeply sacred tradition to Native culture. It isn't something to be taken lightly, and I apologise for the way I've been portraying it. I'm probably going to change the name of the au to the "Cryptid Blake AU". The whole idea of the au was to make Blake a mythical creature that is often seen as a monster (which in turn makes her see herself as a monster), and the creature I used simply isn't that. I won't go back and change my wording on every single post, but I will change the tag for the au. The design and lore will stay the same, but it'll be more like a vague type of cryptid rather than an important Native legend.

Again, sorry for any offense I may have caused, and I will try to do better next time!!!
