Happy holidays! You didn't have any specific instructions, so I didn't really know what to go off of, I hope you have played Mineral Town before, or know the characters. I used Trent as the Doctor's name and that Kai came back for the holiday.

A few days before the Starry Night festival was to take place, Popuri came up with a wonderful idea.
“What if we and all of the boys celebrate the Starry Night together?” Popuri asked excitedly to the other girls in the supermarket.
Ann perked up from the counter where she was sitting, “I think that is a great idea! I know the boys would be up for it, too!”
“Yeah, but where would could we all fit at,” Karen asked, idly tapping on the cash register.
To answer Karen, Ann just waved her hand, “Well, at Claire’s house, of course! “ Just as she finished her sentence, Claire let out a choked noise.
“Uh, sure, yeah, that should be okay,” Claire said, although she sounded like she was mostly assuring herself and not the room full of girls. Popuri grasped Claire’s hands, “This is going to be so fun!”
---
Claire finished up sweeping the floor by the fireplace as Ann and Elli put the final touches on the roasted ham for dinner. Mary gently placed books back on the self and Karen tossed a ball to the dog. Popuri had gone outside to get some more logs for the fire to last the night.
“Knock knock,” came from outside, and the rosy faces of five guys popped into the farmhouse.
“Wow, I can’t believe how good it smells in here,” Cliff said, taking a peek at the food on the table. Popuri nudged him out of the way from behind, her arms full of logs. “Yeah! It tastes even better, too!”
Mary looked up from setting the table, “Did you already try some of the food?” She asked, laying out forks and knives.
Trent walked over to help her, “Well, hopefully you washed your hands?” The pink headed woman laughed and nodded so Trent added, “Okay, let’s eat then!”
It was almost hard to hear one conversation over the chatter from another, but everyone was happy and warm. When Karen pulled out her gift, a few bottles of red wine, the conversations became a little louder.
Dinner lasted about an hour, which led into hot chocolate night, which led into conversations by the fireplaces, which led into mostly everyone falling sleep. From cramming people onto the bed, to sleeping on the rug, the consensus for the night was it was too late and too cold to go home. But two people couldn’t fall asleep yet.
Claire looked around at the people in varies states of sleep. She didn’t quite realize the dinner was going to be an all-nighter, but she didn’t mind. She flicked a marshmallow into the fireplace as Kai sat down next to her. “Look at those kids,” he joked as he nodded his head towards everyone sprawled out in varies places.
“Yeah, I’m just glad everyone has a nice time,” Claire said, “It isn’t often we can all get together like this.”
Kai made a noise in agreement and handed a mug of hot chocolate to the blonde. She looked up and smiled, “and I’m thankful you could make it back. One season a year isn’t enough, Kai.”
In response, he gave a chuckled and nudged Claire with his shoulder, “You mean to say that you miss me?”
Claire gave Kai a weak glare, “No, that isn’t wha- Don’t be silly!”
“Shhh, you’ll wake up the children,” Kai whispered and placed a finger over Claire’s lips, “It’s alright to admit you missed me, Claire.” He added and slid his hand to cup her cheek, “because I’ve missed you.”
Claire’s face flushed instantly, but she told herself that it was just the heat from the fireplace, “Oh, well, good then. Yes, I’ve missed you, too.” Claire stammered over her words as their faces got closer. Her eyes traced over Kai’s face, he still looked just as dark and handsome, ‘Wherever he goes in the winter must be sunny,’ she thought as her eyes then fell to his lips.
Kai gave another soft laugh and pushed his lips to Claire’s. He wove his hand through her long hair and pressed the kiss a little deeper. They only broke apart when they heard rustling coming from someone sleeping. “I’ve wanted to do that since over the summer,” Kai said, not taking his eyes off of Claire’s blue ones.
“Well I’m glad you’re here, even if you do hate the snow.” Claire joked back, but the redness never leaving her cheeks.
