i LO VE soul eater it was the first anime i watched while being conscious of the fact that it was an anime (or third? did i watch fma and ouran first. i can’t remember) and honestly soul eater is why i have such unreasonably high standards when it comes to anime everything about it is SO...... the animation the art style the SOUNDTRACK the character design the characters themselves just. goddamn that is a hard act to follow 

getting back into it is so good and nice after the nastiness of the naruto fandom it’s so great to be able to just gush over my faves without someone trying to start shit because i said that they’re trans
