Sketchy planning

Time was irrelevant when the council thought someone to be guilty of a certain crime, especially given the way certain events had unfolded. Months had flown in an unsympathetic manner when signs of guilt pointed in his direction. Bruises on across heavily scarred skin gave way to the telltale signs of abuse via interrogation. Every word and attempt was denied, as expected of a man who one  planned to go through with these exact accusations. Bitterness aside, the guilt was not necessarily misplaced, but it was no less annoying.

"Haven't gotten a damn wink of sleep thanks to those assholes," muttered the mage, a layer of unshaven facial hair obscuring a face he most often preferred to keep clean, smooth, not unlike his personality.

The weapon of his choice, a large mug that once held a obscene quantity of alcohol, was now brought down with the full force of his being. The bang of the impact was muffled, though, by the ferocity of his laughter, a quality thus adopted by those within Fiore's loudest guild, Quatro Cerb--Puppy. Not a single person that passed through the doors that day would escape the full force of the Cerberus' laughter. It was contagious, or so they proudly announced. And just then, as his guild embarked on another round of drinks, his warm hues landed upon the figure of a new face, one that had just entered the bar they most fancied.

"Hey, you! Yeahhh, you~! Come on over here, the dogs are buying tonight!"

Laxus was not normally one to snoop in the personal affairs of others. As far as he was concerned, if someone needed his help, they would come out and say exactly that. The scrawl of Luna’s writing, however, was one of those exceptions. His hands went to quickly unfold the letter, while his eyes went to observe the contents as fast as they could. After looking through the brief contents, he found himself annoyed, and he turned his nose to the air. There was her scent lingering upon the letter, and with a low sound of dissatisfaction, he swore to track that scent to its source.
