There's nothing quite like starting the day with a peaceful walk by the water. This morning, I was fortunate enough to capture a stunning heron, perfectly poised on a rock. The heron's serene reflection on the tranquil water was a sight to behold. 🌿📸
The weather was perfect today—sunny with a gentle spring breeze creating just the right amount of ripples on the water. The heron's elegant stance and calm presence added a touch of magic to the morning. Watching this majestic bird in its natural habitat reminded me of the beauty and tranquility that nature offers.
Being out in nature, especially during the early hours, provides a unique opportunity to witness the world in its most peaceful state. The heron, with its poised elegance and serene surroundings, epitomized the tranquility of the morning. These quiet moments by the water are a reminder of the simple joys that nature brings, encouraging us to take a step back and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.

1. Do you collect anything? If so, what and why? I collect letters and cards I've been sent, if that counts. I love looking over them and remembering what what going on with my life at point in time. Also, I always feel special that some liked me enough to actually mail me something :)
2. What is your favourite memory? This is hard....hmmm. Well, I can't really pick just one, but as far as more recent memories go, this is a favorite: I went to a two week summer program at a college, and while I was there, I met some of the most amzing people. Anyway, I was so tired one day and decided to take a nap, and then my roommate comes into our room with the same idea. Except instead of sleeping we talked for an hour and a half. And then got up and walked around the campus and talked for another hour. xD
3. If you could choose only one sort of dessert to have for the rest of your life, what would it be? Anything with chocolate!
4. What is the strangest/most fantastic dream you’ve ever had? Oh, wow. Okay, so disclaimer, I used to have the craziest dreams on a regular basis. Overall strangest/creepiest dream ever: When I was in second grade I had this re-occuring dream. Except it wasn't the same dream every night, it was like the dream was paused when I woke up and then it started up again WHERE IT HAD PAUSED every night. And it wasn't even a dream, it was more of a nightmare, really. It had these two bad guys in our attic and it freaked me out. Like, so much that I didn't want to walk by the attic door. Ever. And I wasn't sleeping well, obviously, so one night my mom brings me up to the attic, and I'm terrified, and she shows me that there isn't anything or anyone up there. And then that night before I fell asleep I made myself end the dream, except instead of finding out that they didn't exist or something, the police came and arrested them. And that was the end of it all, and I hadn't thought about it in a while, when a few years back I found out that at the same time as I was having those dreams, my parents were hearing stuff at night in the attic. On multiple occasions. And my dad went and looked and never found anything. Sooooo, that definitely wins the creepy/strange dream award.
5. Are you a tea person or a coffee person? If neither, what is your go-to pick-me-up? Can I say both? I have to have coffee in the morning, but I will drink tea all day long...I love both, what can I say?!?
6. What is your favourite fairy tale? Snow White and Rose Red. :)
7. What place in the world do you most want to visit? Ireland, I think. Possibly New Zealand.
8. You have 24 hours to visit Narnia, the wizarding world of Harry Potter, or Middle Earth; which do you pick and why? Narnia! I love HP, but I think that the idea of visiting Narnia sounds so much more fantastical. And also, I think that everyone from our world who has visited Narnia in the series, grows into so much more than they had been before they came. They all become heroes, in their own way. And I love that. I would want to see who I could become. Also, 24 hours would probably stretch to be much longer in Narnia, just saying.
9. If you had unlimited money to buy one thing for yourself, what would it be? Does a vacation count as one thing? Otherwise, maybe I'd buy a princess dress. Frivolous yes, but just think of it, a perfectly fitting absolutely gorgeous dress made just for me.
10. In the words of Anne Shirley, if you had the choice between being divinely beautiful, dazzlingly clever, or angelically good, which would you choose? Angelically good would probably have the best long term results, but my vanity is going to say divinely beautiful. xD
11. Favourite animal and why? I kinda want to say baby elephants, but really, any baby animal is cute. So I'll say bunnies. Because they're small and soft and roundish and my dad's nickname for me is bunny. Even though I'm not really any of those things.
