As of 21st of August 2019 The Music Works has announced the disbandment of MyTeen. Members Kookheon and Yuvin will be debuting as a duo group, but the other members future will be discussed.

These news are truly heartbreaking. I think most fans, Youths, kept their hopes up and believed the members would have a good chance of a more successful comeback this time, considering the exposure they got through Produce X 101. But sadly, the members will now go their separate ways.

It’s bittersweet. A chapter in their life is now over. On one end they deserved a lot better. It hurts that MyTeen as a band didn’t get to experience a win, together. They’ve not gotten the response and hype they deserved for their music, and it hurts that the disbandment is happening now. On the other, they have so many fans that love them regardless of what they’re doing. I truly hope and believe they’ve felt the sincere love from their fans, and continue thriving off that!

We should all support the members regardless of what future activities they will participate in! They will not be forgotten. This is a sad goodbye, but not the end.

as a you”th who fell in love with this group of wonderful boys, I want to say thank you for everything. between taevin leaving and two members going on producex101, I wasn’t shocked that this was coming. the group was underrated. I hope you guys can appreciate their music that they’ve already released. I hope that this is a beautiful goodbye, but not the complete end. please support kookheon and yuvin in their duo. please support taevin and the other members who pursue acting. please support them in any way.
