Confessions from a hair product addict
When I left school, I wanted to be a hairdresser. Unfortunately, my skin couldn’t cope with the chemicals. So career wise I’ve moved on, but one thing that still remains is I still like to look after my hair with professional products.
I’m going to let you in on some of my favourite hair products.
Nak Body and Shine Shampoo & Nak Body and Shine Conditioner
My favourite Australian based hair care brand is NAK. They are Brisbane based and are their products are Sulphate and Parben Free.
I personally love the Body and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner and keeps my hair soft, shiny and adds texture. It is designed for fine hair and won’t leave your hair oily.
Look out for the at one litre sales, I always buy the litre and this will last me a year and that’s with me washing several times a week.
Nak Ultimate Treatment
Once you’ve have discovered this next product… you can’t never live without it… The Ultimate -Treatment.
I have coloured and use heat styling products in my hair so a hair treatment once a week is a must for me. Pop it in your hair while you shave your legs and hey presto your hair is soft and shiny!
Detangler Brush
Kmart - $9
A bargain buy from Kmart, that I have recently brought, the detangler brush is like a head massager and brush combined! The hair care shops sell similar ones and they cost triple the price. Great to remove knots wet or dry.
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
I think I must be a shine addict, and this I put this product in my hair wet and blowdry. This serum helps control frizz and add shine!
I know professional products are expensive but a little bit goes a long way and next time you are in need of new hair product give these brands a look.
