here to say i've caught two shinies today!

still no charm though.

maybe they made it 1000 battles because im already a lucky boy and they wanted me to give up

its ok. im getting the dlc!

probably still aiming for 500 though

this makes 6 full odds shinies from this game alone! what.

5 are on my main save, 1 is on my replay save.

Fab-ruary

so I went to hot topic today to buy myself something nice, and I found a Once blind bag!! This was all the freaking awesome stuff in it!!!

does anyone of y’all want the Regina hair bow, cause I will literally never wear the thing. I don’t do hair bows.  I’m also not incredibly fond of Regina.

I haven’t been as active as normal (grr computer!) but i’ve still been breeding for shinies! 

First up is Marvel the Gligar/Gliscor. Sorry about the vomit worthy photos.

She’s my first female shiny and took an average amount of time to hatch (a few days). I know she isn’t a bug pokemon but i’ve always loved her shiny colours and she’s in the bug breeding group so she technically counts, right? As you can see i’ve had her for a while now, since she’s already been IV trained and evolved.

Second is shiny Yanma. Her name is Wonder, as in “it’s a wonder i didn’t throw my 3DS in frustration at how long it took to hatch a shiny”. In the end it took WEEKS and like 10-15 boxes of yanma to hatch her. I’m not sure if she took more or less time than Confetti the wimpod to hatch, but it’s definitely close. She’s also my first female shiny bug pokemon. Consequently i have like 10 perfect 6 IV yanma instead of the usual 3-4.

Next up, and the last of my new shinies, is Lucky the Sableye. I had the opposite problem to Wonder with Lucky - she was the fourth egg i hatched, and i didn’t even have breeding pokemon from different versions since i wasn’t going for a shiny (i was breeding for an impish prankster 6 IV for the league). Very lucky indeed!

The last three photos are all of other shinies grown up - Gleam the Toucannon, Revel the Ariados and Tinsel the Volcarona.
