I would love to visit Iceland! I think it would feel very homey, which is something I love when I am travelling.

> Matcha - Favourite book?

I absolutely can’t pick between my top two. That’s just because they are so different. One I really love is Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. It’s kind of a coming of age story of two Mexican American boys and their struggle with family, friends, sexuality and heritage. It’s absolutely a treasure and definitely my fav piece of LGBT+ YA literature (And It’s written by a gay man of color!)

Second is Hyperbole and a Half by Allie Brosh. This book consists of chapter that each hold an anecdote from Allie’s life. Both past and present. Some chapters are horrendously funny, but she also addresses her struggle with depression. 

> Chamomile - Comfort movie?

Night at the Museum. 100%. If I’m in a real slump I will just marathon all of the parts, seeing I have all of them on dvd.

Bonus answer: If I ever need background noises when I’m doing something, I usually put on Paranormal Activity. Because it’s a lot of talking and not a lot of bgm, which usually distracts me.

> Green Tea - Where do you feel most at peace?

I’m a big fan of public transportation. I think it’s because I always ride the bus home after a long day at work or uni, so I kind of associate it with rest?

I actually started taking the train on days off after hectic weeks and I can just really relax on those days. Great moments to clear my head!

> Pu-erh - 3 random facts about myself

1. I am the GrandmaFriend™ of my friend group, despite being the youngest in age. (I have an old soul okay 😂)

2. I actually want to be an Art Director. I’m currently studying Communications in uni, but I’m planning to attend an art academy in Amsterdam when I’m done in 2 years. I’m just not sure if I wanna go for the Cinema, Advertising or Theater route, tho.

3. I am the youngest person alive and very possibly the last that will ever be born with my surname.

Baby’s Breath! I’m not someone that’s into huge extravagant types of flowers. I’d say I also really like the look of Lavender, but the fragrance is just a tad too strong for me. I do also really like the look and smell of Jasmine.

i woke up today, and i kind of felt like i was crossing over my little metaphorical bridge or at least it’s mostly constructed.  i’m not sure what exactly broke inside of me yesterday, but like a lot of people (more than i could have hoped) checked on me and it was pretty nice.  sometimes i’m not sure what’s going on with me or what’s flavoring my sadness of the day or how much of blame i need to take on for rough patches in my life.  i’m in the weirdest headspace, and i feel bad for dumping that on everyone.

today, i knocked a few movies off of my watchlist. one horror movie, one romcom & i caught up on ‘todome no kiss/kiss that kills’.  it’s been a while since i’ve watched a foreign lang. tv show, which i kinda forgot how much i can enjoy myself when i devote all of my attention to a complex story.  so today was actually pretty good.  it snowed where i live, and it was nice calming to look out my window and see snow falling. i was productive on multiple fronts.

so today’s mood is not a frown but a tentative smile. :)

i applaud you for taking your schoolwork seriously.  iiiii don’t know what to do about the fact i’m seeing astro in less than 12 hrs.  anything from spring up would make double happy on top of how ecstatic i am rn.  (the zit stresses me out any way that i slice it, but i’m trying to let it live even though i happened on the one day i didn’t want a zit.

ooh documentaries…. i like to watch a wide variety of documentaries; i think that the presentation of the documentary can make almost anything palatable, but a few of my favorites are: blackfish, the mask you live in, the hunting ground, enron: the smartest guys in the room, (dis)honesty,  and THE CHAMPIONS (it’s about pitbulls rescued from dog fighting; wooo i CRIED).  i know i said a few, but i got carried away.

yo, i think astro’s first album was one of the most beautiful & cohesive things ever. morning call was like the final nail in the coffin and i was like sign me up. but i’m guessing most of the song they sing will be from dreams pt. 1 & 2, which is still awesome (but spring up is in an actual favorite album tier…)

my DOGGO, oh my good lord. this is the only picture of him i have on my tumblr, but if you just ask, i will SPAM you with pictures of him.  he’s 8yrs old now, and he’s lovely and he misses me when i’m not there.  he is a pug/beagle mix, and he loves to sleep and I love him.

THE EAGLES WON AND I’M SEEING ASTRO, so i think it’ll be a good week.  <3

(feedback anon) IMNEW TO GIVING CRITICISM TO PEOPLE + i see criticism as a positive thing so i try to word them as nice as i can. I don't fear giving feedback, but I DO fear wording it wrong that people would seem to see it as a negative comment and not see how much i like their word and want them to improve. I hope me sandwiching it didn't offend u or anything. nd yes, though I loved the au, it definitely suits smth more like a one shot rather than a drabble.

(feedback anon; continued) i did love the way you began the story where the major event had seemed to past, it’s cool, but yeah i guess my problem was it was the length. Would be cool if you ever considered turning into a full out fic (though no pressure!), it definitely has a lot of potential nd stuff u could work with. and the questions were there for both btw. Can’t wait for ur next piece! (ps: how’d you guess? ✨)

honestly, sandwiching is a great way to offer feedback, esp. in a purely text format, since i can’t read further into your tone. imo, it’s probably the best way to go about criticism when you’re typing a comment because it is harder to misinterpret. 

i don’t know if i would convert into a longer form whojit.  (i’ve been watching a lot of csi: csi & law and order: svu, so it came from kind of a weird place in the idea factory.) i didn’t have a ton of thought up backstory or world building when i wrote it, which might have lent to its general vagueness, and i don’t know what sort of resolution i might want that relationship to have.
