im working out some details in my magical girl comic but ive already started the actual writing process! heres some reference art and whatnot. im not not good at drawing monsters so im not sure what ill do for the motw. maybe ill just go sailor moon and have them all be sexy ladies in funky clothes

All right, the next chapter of this story picks up right where we left off the previous chapter! Now... normally this is where I would say something along the lines of “there isn’t much to say here other than the new update is now live”, but... let’s talk about the elephant in the room here.

Yes, Shining Sunlight will be on hold (as will be me writing and uploading fanfiction as a whole) until further notice. Yadda yadda real life responsibilities piling up yadda yadda need to focus on other stuffs that won’t let me focus on writing and uploading fanfiction. At the end of the day, there are other things that I must do and as much as I want to continue writing and uploading fanfiction... I know that that is just not realistic for me to do.

So... until further notice, I will be putting everything fanfiction-related on hold to focus on those other responsibilities I was referring to. And hopefully I will be back sooner than later. Thank you for your understanding, support, and patience, everyone!

As I promised yesterday, it’s back! Chapter 36 of Shining Sunlight is now officially uploaded after a hiatus of almost ten months! And, I must say, it feels great to finally be able to upload this chapter after so long... it really has been a while... thank you for your patience and understanding and I hope that I can return to the original schedule of once every three Saturdays at the bare minimum again. As we always say: we will see how it goes, won’t we?

And considering that today is the 31st of December... Happy New Year, everybody!

So here we are! Are we taking a break from the main plot to do something fun because the update schedule of this story just happened to coincide with Christmas of 2021? Yes. Could I have published this chapter as a stand-alone oneshot and it would still be making sense? Probably. Do I think it is justified to put it under the Shining Sunlight storyline because it still has some relevance to what is going on? Also yes.

Anyway, with all that aside, I do hope that you enjoy the chapter, Merry Christmas 2021 and a hopefully happy new year for 2022 in advance.
