I hate those "who's NGE best girl?" memes on Twitter. Not because I don't have an answer, and only partially because I feel like talking about who's the best girl in the franchise misses the point. I hate it because I'm kin with Shinji and dating someone who's kin from NGE as well. Not Asuka, or Rei, or Misato, or any of the women in that series. Not Kaworu, either. My datemate is kin with fucking Ramiel, and I love them so much, but I can't just retweet with pictures of Ramiel.
Love kinning traumatized children who are misinterpreted by the fandom. Love when traumatized characters are lumped into groups either "crybaby, useless" or "evil, murderer". Love my kins falling on both sides of that spectrum. - Shinji/Asriel/Flowey/Basil/etc.
