Hi buds~ these're my today scenes. Today was busy, even if be hold day. Guess that seem not to be unsignificant for break day. As like that, made me exhaustingly. During daybreak time, couldn't be slept well by mosquito.🤬 how can to fly mosquito yet!?😤 Moreover preparing was hard up to movement previous. Hmm Anyhow my first destination was Shinsaegae of Banpo. When look at there, people haven't a lot well. But underground merchant plaza has lotta visitors. My visit object was that, repair for my Kangol wristband watch @kangol @kangolkorea . Finally have treated it up. After that over, I moved at DDP. There has fleamarket. I wanted, see that event. However, hadn't much time. So past there. And proceeded there starbucks. This scene is to reveal at next post.🤘 #shinsaegae #banpo #gangnamshinsaegae #banposhinsaegae #luxurymecca #gangnam #gangnamstyle #kanggol #kanggolwatch #ddp #dongdaemun #東大門 #ddpfleamarket #강남 #강남신세계 #반포 #반포신세계 #강남스타일 #동대문역사문화공원 #동대문 #屍口門 #屍軀門 #광희동 #시구문 (at Shinsegae Gangnam Department store) https://www.instagram.com/p/CjXj76Dhpnj/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
This Busan daytrip itinerary is very meandering and spur of the moment. It also involves a lot of taxis, due to how spread out Busan is. If you are interested in seeing all of the things we did in the same day, you should go with someone else to make the cost more reasonable. If you are staying longer in Busan I would just take your time. However, this was a really fun…
So this weekend, I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Gyeongju and Busan. I didn't bring my computer with me, so that is why I haven't blogged in a few days~
We left Yonsei around 7AM, and we were off to Gyeongju, which is one of Korea's historical provinces. The bus would basically stop every 2 hours, so that everyone could go restroom or buy food if they wanted to. We arrived in Gyeongju around 1, and we had lunch at this really cool traditional Korean-style restaurant. We had to take our shoes off in order to go into the rooms that we had lunch in, and it was pretty good. The restaurant was really nice, and I enjoyed it alot. We went to the Bulguksa temple, where we saw a lot of Buddhas, and learnt about the temple and its history, from the assistants. There are two pagodeas, but one was under construction and there were supposed to be 4 lions on one of the pagodas, but the Japanese stole 3, and the last one is in a Korean museum, so the lion that we saw was a replica. We also went to Cheonmachong, which is where some of the Korean kings were buried. After quickly touring the place, our guides had prepared a surprise for us, to find a little square green piece of paper with a number on it. I was one of 40 people that was fortunate to find one. If your number was picked, you got a fan (5 people). If your number wasn't called, you got ice cream. I preferred the ice cream to the fan anyways, but one of the assistants laughed at us when we cheered really loudly for the ice cream, as the day was really warm and humid. We headed back on the bus, and we were off to Busan! We got to Busan around 7ish, and we had this really delicious kbbq, in this super high class restaurant. Then we headed to the hostel we were staying at. After checking in, we headed out to explore Busan nightlife. We went to the Haeundae strip, where there is a lot to do and see. At first, we were going to go to norebang, but we just gave up, and then explored Busan. We took a cab back to the hotel, and then we knocked out.
The next day, we had to be up by 8:30, because we were going to go to Jagalchi Fish Market, in order to experience it, and try live octopus, if you dared. I tried the live octopus, it was just squishy and chewy, and a bit salty. After the fish market, we headed to the Shinsaegae Department Store, which is the world's biggest department store. We explored the mall for a bit, and then we decided to take the Busan subway to Haeundae, because a lot of us wanted to go to the Busan Aquarium. I liked the Aquarium, but I think that the ones in the states are a bit bigger. We saw a live shark feeding show, which was really interesting, and it was cool to watch. After the aquarium, we then went to Haeundae Beach, were some us us played in the water. It was so full of beach goers. In the sea, there were so many yellow innertubes, and it was just very crowded. We then ate dinner at a Burger King, and then went back to the hotel to rest before going clubbing on the Busan strip. Clubbing there was... meh. the club that we went to had much more girls than guys, so it wasn't that fun. We stayed up until about 4AM...
The next day, we woke up at 9AM, and got ready to check out. We went on Galmaetgil Trail, which is a very scenic trail of Busan. We walked to Haeundae Beach from there, and then we met up with the rest of our program at the ticket office of Haeundae Aquarium. We then headed to lunch at The Party, which is an amazing buffet. It is wayyyyy better than the buffets at Vegas. There was so much to eat, and even though we were given 2 hours to enjoy everything, there was not enough time to eat everything. They had so much to offer, and they even had mangosteen, passionfruit, pineapple, grapes, and more. It was amazing.
After eating at the buffet, we boarded the bus, and then we headed back to Seoul.
Today, went to class, found out that I have a midterm this Thursday, and I have an assignment that I have to present tomorrow, but I would rather get my presentation done and over with, so that I don't have to worry about people doing the commercial that I chose, which is one pertaining to emotional marketing. Today we went to a fried rice and chicken restaurant, which was pretty decent. We then went to a patbingsoo place that is quite famous, but I think that I liked the patbingsoo place that I went to first... oh wells! This weekend was fun!
Busan's atmosphere is way different from Seoul, and I wish that I was able to explore Busan more.
