So the ex-PM of Japan Shinso Abe was assassinated recently and I've been seeing a lot of people dunking on him on this site and Twitter. And I'm gonna say it outright;
You fucking disgust me.
A man just died. A real person. I don't care what qualms you have against him, whether personal or not, but you do not disrespect the recently deceased. There are people who are grieving here and you're going around insulting him and his fellows. For what? Because it makes you feel better? Because it makes you feel superior? Just stroking your self-righteous ego?
I don't know much about Shinso Abe and from what I've read, there's a lot of things he did badly, as well as a lot of things he did well. I have no personal feelings for him but I'm not disgraceful enough to make fun of him or spit on his grave. Whatever issues you have with him, take it and shove it up your ass. He's dead and we're done.
Whether they're the worst of criminals or the greatest of saints, everyone should be treated with respect when it comes to their passing. There are no exceptions.
