The Hyuuga groaned, tilting his head back and closing his eyes as he felt Ino’s intrusive chakra pour into his wounds, slowly healing them. “Didn’t feel brave,” the Hyuuga complained as he attempted to ignore the pained throbbing that pulsed through his body. He felt like death itself, weak and bleeding and likely unable to stand if he tried. It was shameful to allow Ino to view him this way.
“I don’t think a five on one fight is brave. It’s foolish. I should have waited for my team.” If only there hadn’t been such a high risk to wait. He couldn’t risk the deaths of innocent bystanders, even if it meant his own wounds. It was foolish but also a conscious choice, one which, despite his words, he didn’t regret. “I have used all my chakra as well. I’ll be useless for weeks,” he grumbled before wincing, finding the healing of the deep cuts painful. “Do you have to be so forceful?”
