Blankly Sakura looked at the small child. She was supposed to love and adore him, he was born to her. Shared the looks of her and her lover. But all that welled up was disgust. She couldn’t feel attachment nor affection. He looked so much like Mebuki Haruno. A woman Sakura should revere but couldn’t feel close to. “I hate you. So Much.” The words were out before she could think. Her cold unfeeling green eyes watching his face.

» Anger should flow through his veins like a never ending fire, panic should direct his muscles, anxiety should control his thoughts, apathy should keep his emotions in check, his shinobi training should lead him to his destiny.
But the shadow that embraced him and caressed him like a lover, the personification of the concerns of a parent who clung to him as tight as a leech, unwilling to leave, it wouldn't allow any unnecessary feelings.
'He's gone ..'
The loss of his mother, the hatred torwards the Uchiha, his own weakness, all of these things had pained Honoou, Sasuke had tried to mend these emotional scars, but he failed. His son had left the village.
'Konohana.'
She had felt it just like he had, without hesitation she had stormed after his beloved son, her parents knew nothing about her disappearance, no one except for them knew that Sasuke's son had left the village that it was Honoou's wish to be branded as a traitor.
A pile of clothes on the ground caught his attention, the young male halted immediately. Without hesitation, Sasuke teleported to the unconscious person, clumsily he let himself fall down on one knee, her delicate face was covered with blood splatter and blisters.
Hair as pink as cherry blossoms was soaked in red, here and there dominated the colour black parts of her soft hair, her own blood surrounded her like a pond..
'A koi pond' The raven thought grimly, parts of her clothes were torn and burned, exposing the scarred skin underneath. It was the result of Honoou's own version of Chidori Nagashi because the young Uchiha did not possess the lightning element, he had developed a jutsu that was similiar to his father's jutsu, normally his father would have been proud of him, but not under these circumstances.
Slowly, the raven opened his hand, which he had unconsciously made into a fist and reached out hesitantly.
What if she was dead? What would her parents say? The villagers would hate him. Naruto and Sakura would hate him. The village would despise Honoou. Naruto and Sakura were a part of his family, but when Hana was dead, they no longer would be a family.
His hand began to tremble, he could hardly reach for her face, his whole body shaked in fear, a cold shudder crawled down his back, carefully, Sasuke put the back of his hand against her cheek, she was so cold the young male mused before he put two fingers on her neck.
Her pulse was weak but present.
Sasuke immediately placed his hands on her chest, greenish chakra formed around his hands. When Honoou had been three, the little boy once burned his hands by touching a hotplate, Sasuke had been careless and that had been the reason why his child had been injured. Even now he still could hear his son's cry of pain, the smell of burnt flesh and skin sticking on the hotplate, the memory was hazy - his own hand slid to the wrist of his son and interrupted the contact . His stomach turned when he remembered that part of the memory. Hinata's shocked look, then stormy steps, a blow to his chest, harsh but soft at the same time, green chakra, blue hair, lavender eyes full of determination. His own helplessness.
They had spent the next two nights in the hospital, together and yet alone, Sasuke had been trapped in his own world and Hinata had known, she tried to talk to him tried to comfort him but he hadn't responded to it, merely stared at his own hands. It had scared her.
In the next few months Sasuke did not want to be left alone with his son, he refused to take care of him, to play with him alone, to pick him up from kindergarten all alone. Hinata had obviously tried to convince him that it had not been his fault, but it did not help. His paranoid attitude didn't disappear.
Hinata had not been the person who saved the Uchiha from his shell of despair, neither Naruto, it had been Shinachiku.
Grinning broadly, Shinachiku stood before him. "Hey uncle I never see you playing with Hon.. d-do you hate h-him?" the blond asked curiously, onyx-coloured empty eyes stared down at the child. "I'm afraid that I'll hurt him." Sasuke admitted. "I already have injured a person that I love.. I couldn't do anything to help them."
The blond boy tilted his head questioningly to the side, his lips pressed tightly together. "Stupid stupid uncle duckbutt!" Shinachiku scolded and pinched his uncle's cheek. "If you know how to hurt people, then you should also know how to heal them! If you don't want to injure anyone, then learn to heal them! Stupid uncle! Someday, I'm going to be known as the best mednin of all time and then I'll teach you how to heal someone properly!"
Two years later, Shinachiku started to teach his uncle some healing tricks, but Sasuke could only use basic healing technics, he could heal cuts and burns, even little bone fractures.
.. but not to this extent.
Sweat began to soak his clothes, black eyes watched how small wounds closed again, her skin regained some color, but he was unable to close all her wounds, the former avenger had a massive and strong chakra system but not the necessary knowledge and skills. He couldn't do anything but delay her death for a few minutes.
After all her minor wounds were closed, the raven put an arm around her shoulder and shoved the other under her knees, the Uchiha gently picked her up. A crimson eye and a purple one looked down at her, the young male took a deep breath before he turned around, the cool wind lashed against his face as he used his eyes to teleport them to a safer spot.

Impatiently, Sakura looked at the clock, soon her shift would find an end, soon she would see her beloved husband and children again, grinning, she stared at the wall, lost in her own thoughts.
Bam!
"W-what?" the pink haired Kunoichi muttered suprised and walked around the counter, straight into the next corridor, which was completely deserted. Sakura blinked several times before she noticed a hunched person. Konohana. Without hesitation the kunoichi yelled for help, before she kneeled down beside her daughter to heal her wounds.
[ Honestly I think that Neji would be Shinachiku's eventual sensei in an AU where he lived. They wouldn't have gotten along at first but I think they would share a great teacher-student relationship once they got through their first struggles in their relationship, considering their personalities and values. But I would love to interact with you and see what we can come up with together! Your Shinachiku is absolutely stunning and I enjoy seeing you on my dash. I apologize that I didn't have the time to write yor starter from earlier but I promise that we can interact any time and I can still write a starter for you
Send me “We’re in this together” for a reaction/drabble of our muses dying together.
It was stupid.
Oto and Konoha had teamed up to put down a gang war taking place in the Land of Fire’s interior. Though, this in itself, was not what garnished the situation it’s stupidity.
No, it was the way they were getting beat.
Weapons had advanced. Projectiles that could barely be blocked were picking off all the weaker shinobi. Suigetsu was trying his utmost not to be hit, but things were looking grim…
Bright blonde caught his eye. For a moment, he almost called out Naruto’s name, but the word died on his lips.
"Hey, kid!" Suigetsu called as he lifted Kubikiribōchō to stand as a shield before him. Metal striking metal rang out over the battlefield, "Kid, we gotta get out of here!"
Green eyes flashed at him. “We’ll provide cover for everyone else, then we’ll leave!”
He’s so much like his parents. Great, we’ll never get out of here-
- shck! -
Pained blossomed in his side. Immediately, Suigetsu felt dizzy, disorientated, and most of all…excruciating agony. “Kh…” He didn’t need to look down to know it was bad. Suigetsu wanted to laugh all of a sudden. Usually, he could avoid serious injury, but this new weapon made using his defensive abilities practically impossible. The projectiles moved too fast. There was no way to react quickly enough to liquify himself…
He fell to his knees behind his sword. The shot had been lucky, but it was damaging enough. There was no way he’d last much longer if he kept losing blood.
Looking around, he spotted Shinachiku a couple yards away, nursing a terrible wound of his own. Their eyes locked. The brat looked…scared.
