Yesterday while doing tera raids to get herba mystica, i randomly came across the exact Pokemon i had been planning to hunt. random shinies are always the most exciting!!! and im so happy to have my lil pea-colored kamen rider mantis!!!! shiny nymble is SO cute also i didnt get the colors exactly right.... its such a beautiful shade of yellow..... i want another one just to keep as a little baby

Never Tell Me the Odds: Picnic Method Surprise!

Who doesn’t like Drakloak? I certainly do and so do my friends and family so I find myself hunting for them and Dreepy a lot. I was deep into the picnic method and knew that at any minute I would probably encounter my shiny. What I did not expect was that it would be this guy above.

Remember that the increase in shiny odds affect every Pokémon in the game, not just the specific type you’re targeting. I almost walked right by this guy! I wasn’t as familiar with Lokix so I didn’t know what their shiny form looked like intuitively. I quickly got him in a ball, so quick that I didn’t get a picture of his capture! I worked the area until midnight but he was the only shiny that resulted out of that outbreak.

(This is how he sleeps lol!) A lot of people would consider this hunt a failure but in my view, any shiny hunt that results in a shiny is a big win! ✨ Especially before you get your shiny charm, every shiny is rare and worth cherishing!

Shiny Lokix was completely unexpected but after getting to know him I’m so happy we met! I spent so much time dodging the Lokix in the area that I almost missed him entirely! Remember trainer, keep your eyes open! You never know what shiny surprises could be waiting for you right around the corner.
