I got lucky and found this shiny Loudred as a Whismur on route 116, in Pokemon Sapphire, while looking for a regular skitty for the dex. I’m not particularly a fan of Whismur or Loudred, but Exploud is pretty cool looking. I’m raising him up until he evolves and post a picture when he does. I will be transferring him all the way up to Pokemon Sun.

My Shiny Eevee hunt success inspired me to keep trying - but I couldn't expect what happened: I caught two shinies within barely 20 minutes of each other. First, Kauff, a Phampy - who might not look so different from a normal Phampy, but soon he'll be a gold-copper-brown-whatever Donphan! The second one was a female Loudred, named Banshi. She'll also evolve soon!

I was really happy with this outcome and I still can't believe it. I don't even have the Shiny Charm yet! Well, honestly, I'm not sure what to think about how easy to find Shiny Pokémon is in the sixth generation. I'm afraid Shiny Pokémon will end up losing their meaning...
