It took over 1500 eggs with the Masuda Method, but I finally got my Shiny Grookey!

I’ve been having some unusually good shiny luck with online raid dens in SWSH (that is, until yesterday’s update made refreshing the stamp refresh page impossible). It got to the point where chucking a Masterball at things made me start to feel guilty, so now my rule is I can only throw a Masterball at G-Max shinies since their catch rates are so low anyways. It feels more fun and satisfying when there’s a struggle! Plus it’s nice to be able to match Pokemon to specific pokeballs (like in Requium and Mango’s case). That being said, my heart was definitely pounding when I threw a Luxuryball at Muramasa, haha.

I actually just realized that I never shared the final member of my Shiny Squad, Huntress. I have her for general hunting, Mimi Buster is for Mimikyu and Bomb Squad is for exploders, Huntress is for everything else. I spent about an hour S.O.S. chaining to find her HA, Scrappy, so I had something that I could easily False Swipe ghost types. Included are my arrangement of moves; Dragon Claw (15), Poison Jab (20), Brick Break (15) for an easily countable 50 moves. And I have her holding a Silk Scarf to give False Swipe a little extra umph! As always Keep Hunting!! :D
