As requested by @bizarropurugly, here’s my concept for an improved version of the Litten line’s shinies!

I decided to give them a color scheme inspired by golden tigers, i.e. one o’ deez:

Because it’s a color variation that happens in real tigers that could also be connected to the line’s fire typing

And I added blue flames because blue flames are sick and it’s complementary to the orangish colors

As requested by @autistic-sariel, here’s my concept for an improved shiny Garchomp!

My immediate thought was to make Garchomp look like a great white shark, and it looked just as nice in practice as it did in my head. I originally meant to make the yellow parts black, but I realized that’d make the eyes entirely black as well, so I made them blue which fits nice with the silvery colors of this chomp

As requested by an anon, here’s my concept for an improved shiny Lunala!

So what I was going for here was just... a dusk/dawn kinda Lunala? With this vibrant fuschia, silver wings and blue eyes... it kinda gives off a colder color scheme than the original design and I think it fits Lunala p well

I joined the bandwagon of fixing shiny Pokémon, here’s my idea of how shiny Dragonite could be improved. I do like the current shiny but I think it could be better

My first idea was just turn him blue, but I know that’s kinda cheating since literally every Pokémon pulls of blue and/or black well and it’d be so boring if every shiny had those colors. So I tried a happy middle ground between the original green shiny and the blue I envisioned, which ended up being this nice seafoam green which not only looks great on Dragonite but also fits with him being a sea guardian and all

I do like the purple wings of the original shiny, so I kept them and saturated them a little to make them fit with the rest of the shiny

EDIT: added an alternate version that’s not quite as bright

As requested by @starlight-fountain, here’s my shiny Manaphy concept!

I wanted to make Manaphy look like the sea at sunset, so I gave it a peachy orange color. I also really liked how its eye markings used to be green when shiny in gens IV and V, so I put that in as well, and I made the gem blue to make it look more like a water type

As requested by @silverfrost0909, here’s my concept for an improved shiny of the Jangmo-o line! (They actually just said Jangmo-o but I decided to do the entire line since they all have the same issues)

I believe what I did here was just a simple, yet effective color scheme. I lightened the dark gray of the legs because it’d look better with the colors I was going for, then I made them purple with red (and the occasional pink or orange) scales and claws. There’s no real justification behind it, I just thought it’d look sick and it did. Tho you could argue that they’re purple because that’s a color associated with the dragon type, and ditto for red and fighting, and with some good will you could think of the scales being meant to look as if they’re soaked in blood like with the Honedge line’s shinies, but that’s beside the point

As requested by an anon, here’s my concept for improved shinies of the Helioptile line!

Yeah I know, I made them green and I should be crucified for doing it, but I don’t think I fucked it up? Green is not inherently a worse shiny color, it’s all about picking the right shade for the right Pokémon, and I believe I picked a green that makes sense for the Pokémon, doesn’t hurt your eyes and fits well with the rest of the color scheme.
