I’ve got to confess that I wouldn’t have seen myself standing here a year ago.  The night I got the nerve to stop bullying you long enough to kiss you, I never did think you would return the favor, let alone the feelings I’d carried around for all that time.  It took getting used to, seeing you by my side and knowing that I’m yours and you’re mine.  It hasn’t always been easy, it hasn’t always made us smile, but it’s been worth it.  Thank you for loving me, thank you for being with me, and  especially thank you for wrangling my drunk ass.  It’s been a hell of a year, Shinya – I love you.
