Shiny Apple

You should know that you are a shiny apple,

The boys who climb are there to grapple.

Sitting patiently at the top of the trees,

Wait for a while and watch endlessly.

They pick the rotten ones, down at the bottom,

While you’re left on the top feeling like you’re in a chasm.

Then one day, a gentleman breaks free,

Peering up the distance curiously.

He begins to climb and falters every so often,

Leaving you nervous and chanting awesome.

Finally he reaches up, picking you from the top,

Making your heart beat nonstop.
