At times you'll find that things are bad and getting slowly worse. In those situations in which the fault is nobody's but your own, you stand culpable of your own mistakes and can't blame others if they had no stake in it. You've run your ship aground, stranded on the rocks, and the tide is rapidly leaving you. Or you may find yourself only just beginning to build your ark right as the rains begin. It's in those moments that you'll find your mettle tested thoroughly. Don't ever give in to despair, no matter how dark the road ahead looks. Remember that if the foundation of a building is good, then everything else can be good, too, albeit with some work done. If you can yet make things work, make things right, and solve your own problems (sometimes with a little help from your friends or family), then there's no reason to despair. All you need is to stop sulking and start acting: rather than cringe in fear and whimper stupidly as to what you could-would-should have done, you take arms and do. Your ship may have run aground, but even a ship on the rocks can yet be taken out to sea. And even boats built as the floods start may yet come to pass.
